| 15 February 2019- ACSSA EAO Conference The ACSSA EAO Conference on Salesian History concluded today with Holy Mass presided by Fr. Nestor Impelido SDB. In his homily the participants were encouraged not to be afraid to study and to write of the history of our Salesian figures as in this way lessons for the sake of the Gospel will always be found. The journey these past six days has also become a call for an ephphatha—that while joys and wounds are opened in the course of reflection in writing history, it is in doing so that the ears are opened and the tongue loosened—the Heart of Jesus heals. And for this, everytime, Salesian history is reflected upon, God's compassion and mercy are always remembered. |
